A Good Chainsaw for Firewood

by Brandon

I am looking into cutting some trees this summer to sell for firewood next year. I was wondering if you had any recommendations for the size and make of a good overall chainsaw to use?
Thanks!

Answer

Brandon,

The size saw that you'll need really depends on the size and species of trees that you will be cutting. My general recommendation is to spend the extra money and get either a Stihl or Husqvarna professional chainsaw. The best small models are the Husqvarna 346XP and the Stihl MS260. If you will be cutting larger hardwoods (18"+) you may want to consider buying a larger saw such as a Husqvarna 372XP/371XP or the Stihl MS441. I have used all four of these saws and I believe them to be top of the line in both performance and durability. I hope this helps!

I think alternative energy would be the best solution, since the Earth is being depleted. What will people cut down next when the last tree is demolished? Everyone of us should think about the solution to the planet pollution problem. Visit http://academic-writings.com/.

Although you did not mentioned what kinds or size of tree you are going to cut. That would be easy to recommend you a chainsaw. However I am recommending you Husqvarna 316E Electric chainsaw.
